This year, the holiday season will be particularly tough for members of the entertainment community, as we face a continued shutdown of all live productions. To help our members and others in our industry, Local 58 is partnering with the Toronto Star Santa Claus Fund to ensure there’s a little something under the tree for the children of stagehands, actors, musicians, and other entertainment workers in the Greater Toronto Area affected by the economic impact of COVID-19. Entertainment community members with children under the age of 12 are invited to apply to receive a gift for each qualifying child in their family.

To apply, please fill out this form and attach proof of work in the industry (payslip, cast/crew list, promo photo, member reference, etc.) along with details about each child for whom a gift is required. Applications are due by November 30, 2020. Presents will be delivered before Christmas Eve within the GTA. Applicants who work in the GTA but live outside will be required to arrange pick up of the gifts from the Local 58 office at 511 Adelaide Street West.
